DYPIS, Nerul’s spirited delegates proudly represented the school at the Diplomathon World Symposium, hosted at Nahar International School, Andheri, on August 23rd and 24th. Reflecting the framework of the United Nations, our students immersed themselves in meaningful debates and discussions on pressing global issues.
This year’s symposium proved to be yet another resounding success, offering participants from Grades 3 to 12 an enriching platform to refine their diplomatic acumen, sharpen critical thinking, and broaden global perspectives. It was truly inspiring to see our students collaborate with peers from various schools—finding common ground, exchanging fresh ideas, and showcasing creativity.
Their efforts shone through, with our delegates earning accolades such as Best Delegate, High Commendation, Special Mention, and Verbal Mention.
Special recognition goes to Ahaana Nair (Grade 9), Akshara Dalan and Sanjam Kaur Saini (Grade 10), and Aayan Kumar (Grade 12), who displayed outstanding leadership as committee chairs. Crowning the celebration, DYPIS, Nerul once again secured the Best Delegation Award—marking our sixth consecutive triumph at the Diplomathon World Symposium!

The third edition of the prestigious DYMUN at DY Patil International School,Nerul, unfolded on18th and 19th October, 2024, bringing together over 160 young delegates from schools across the region. This student-led Model United Nations event showcased the school’s commitment to fostering global awareness and nurturing diplomatic skills among its students.
The delegates, energized by the presence of our Academic Director, Ms. Asheka Tenzin and DYMUN founder- member and alumnus Ms. Manasi Sonavane, delved into thought-provoking discussions on critical global issues, including climate change, human rights, and international security. Within expertly crafted committee simulations, participants demonstrated remarkable research, debate, and negotiation skills, sparking two days of intense intellectual exchange.
As the conference concluded, it left delegates with widened perspectives, a strengthened sense of global responsibility, and an enduring enthusiasm for diplomacy. The success of this event highlights a shared hope that these young leaders will contribute to a more united world through understanding and dialogue.
Rohan Dani, student of Grade 10 B bagged the gold medal at Cadet National Cup in England. He has been selected to represent England in the prestigious European Youth Championship in Poland.
MUN is an interactive educational activity in which students simulate the workings of the UN or one of its many organs, agencies or affiliated bodies.
Learners of today are leaders of tomorrow and as we prepare to settle them into the rapidly changing social and political environment, it is our aim to equip them with the skills of independent thinking, problem-solving, and developing a holistic understanding of national as well as international issues. 19 Students from our school had participated in PIMUN 2022 conference organised by PODAR International School, Nerul on 29th and 30th July, 2022.

Students of DYPIS Nerul brought laurels to the school by bagging the “Winning School” trophy. 31 students across Primary, Middle and High School had participated in thetwo-day face to face Diplomathon Symposium organized on 26th and 27th November 2022 at Podar International School, Santacruz.
We are amongst the Top School and have been qualified for Diplomathon Dubai. A proud moment indeed!
Anushka Singh from grade 6A has set a new GROUP WORLD RECORD on 5th September, 2021 for performing 125 different Yoga Asanas in 11 minutes.
Her achievement has been registered in World Records India.
She was awarded a certificate and medal on 24th October 2021 for the same.
Rohan Dani of Grade 8B has won a Bronze medal ( U 17 category) in the recently concluded 1st Maharashtra State Table Tennis Ranking Tournament held in Mumbai.
Trisha Shukla (IGCSE 2019-20), currently pursuing IBDP in our school, is the winner of Robin age Bright Sparks Award-2019. She won the much acclaimed award amidst stiff competition, that included entries from multiple schools across the city. Trisha has been awarded the first prize for her brilliant poem ” Superman”.
